Yorkshire Over 50s unbeaten season has been rewarded with 5 of their players being selected for an England XI to play in the Sri Lankan ODI international tournament in 2016. Congratulations to the players selected:
Rob Keywood (Warley CC in Halifax Cricket League - pictured middle left)
Vice captain of Yorkshire 50’s
Left arm opening bowler and number 11 bat.
Leader of the Yorkshire bowlers, he has bowled consistently all season and capped off a great year with 9 over, 9 runs for 2 wickets in the ECB Championship Final against Staffordshire.
Kevin Bradley (Clifton CC in York & District Senior League - pictured middle top)
Opening bat and specialist slip fielder
Kevin has bought the wow factor to the Yorkshire side and had a stellar year scoring 700 runs at an average of exactly 100, his experience leading the team with the bat has been invaluable. In the slips he very rarely drops anything which all the bowlers have appreciated
Colin Frank (Pickering CC in York & District Senior League - pictured top left)
Number 3 batter and specialist gully
Colin is an aggressive batter who coming in at 3 takes it to the opposition, he scored 328 runs at a average of 65 this season as has been consistent for many year playing for the county 50’s, he is currently playing his 41st season with Pickering 1st XI.
Steve Wales (North Leeds CC in Airedale & Wharfedale Senior Cricket League - pictured bottom left)

Middle order batter/bowler and cover fielder
However due to the prolific batting in the Yorkshire ranks has not been required very often (once), Steve comes on first or second change and with the ball he was the second leading wicket taking with 13 wickets.
Steve Booth (Collingham in Airedale & Wharfedale Senior Cricket League - pictured top right)
Middle order bat/slow bowler and exellent fielder
Steve was selected for the England XI but due to work commitments was unable to accept his selection, this season he was pivotal to the side and was Yorkshires leading wicket taker this year with 14 wickets.
