The Disability Champions Cricket Club programme is now live for 2025!
Whether your club is applying for the first time or renewing their application to continue their fantastic work, you can do so by clicking here!
This Disability Champions Cricket Club programme is an ECB scheme designed to promote and increase disability cricket at local cricket clubs across the county. We have so much good work that goes on across the county on a disability front and we want to showcase this on a national level. The ECB Disability Cricket Champion Club scheme is there to aid this process.
If your club has any form of disability cricket occurring at your cricket club, then you are eligible to apply for this scheme. Likewise, if your club intends to run some disability cricket this season, we can help towards making this happen. Should your club be successful with your application then you will receive an ECB Kit Bag to run the sessions and a £500 grant towards the running of the disability projects at your club. (This will be received once sessions have been evidenced). If you’re an existing ECB Disability Champion Club, you will still be eligible to apply for the £500 grant.
In addition to the £500 support grant and kit bag (for new DCCCs), in 2025 both new and existing Disability Cricket Champion Clubs will have the opportunity, working together with AccessAble, to create a bespoke accessibility guide for their facilities.
